"The teacher will acknlowedge me when I raise my hand."
clutch: to tightly hold something
"The woman had a firm clutch on her purse."
persevere: to keep working on something even though it is difficult

Yesterday we wrote sentences using these words and today we found synonyms and antonyms for these words.
Practicing these words at home will help them become a part of your child's daily vocabulary!
How can you practice at home?
Use them in sentences and see if your child notices them.
Have your child use the words in sentences.
