Our words this week are:
SNIDE, HEAP, DIVERSE
SNIDE: to do something in a mean or nasty way
"Her snide look made me realize that she did not trip me on accident."
HEAP: a large collection of things thrown into a pile
"The laundry lay in a heap on the floor."
DIVERSE: different from one another
"The restaurant has a very diverse menu with many kinds of food."
Today we wrote sentences with these words and tomorrow we will look up synonyms and antonyms.
Practicing these words at home will help them become a part of your child's daily vocabulary!
