Our words this week are:
EVIDENCE, DIALOGUE, LITERAL
EVIDENCE: a sign that shows something exists or is true
"If you want a dog, you need to show your parents evidence that you will take care of it."
DIAGLOGUE: a conversation between two or more people
"The teacher had a dialogue with my mom about my grades."
LITERAL: following the usual meaning of words
"He was not literal when he told the dancer to 'break a leg'."
Today we wrote sentences with these words and tomorrow we will look up synonyms and antonyms.
Practicing these words at home will help them become a part of your child's daily vocabulary!
How can you practice at home?
Use them in sentences and see if your child notices them.
Have your child use the words in sentences.
